 Hey White’s,

Since then I have been detecting hard to find places for civil war relics in the Dallas, Ga area. I have the 950 stock coil as well as the 6x10 DD coil, I hunt these relics in the picture attached and I found some with the 950 coil half a day. I then went back to the same ground with the 6x10 DD and sniffed out what I had missed, the ground in this area is mostly hotter than Georgia asphalt but the MXT sniffs out the goodies.

The picture is what I have found with the MXT the past couple weeks, I never would have imagined finding anything like this with the other brand of detectors I have had. All my friends have either the XLT or the MXT, and we all do well with these detectors. The MXT has made my life totally different now that I have a machine that can separate and identify targets that are worthy or digging without breaking my back to dig every target.

Everyone I know that has the other brand detectors are switching to the White’s due to my harassing them that they are leaving the goodies behind for us White's detector guys, I guess all of us White's users are your salesman, we all know that these detectors are the best on the market, your customer service & technical staff are the best in the business.

Iwill always own a White's, heck my wife will probably have to bury me with my MXT once I pass away many years from now. Wonder if there are good relic spots in heaven? Thank you so much for designing a perfect detecting machine for us hardcore relic diggers!

Dear White’s Electronics,

In March 2007 I went on vacation with some of my wife's family to Mexico. While there I hunted as much as I could. I got several rings, charms, coins and a bracelet. My best find came one evening while out with my sister-in-law, who wanted to go along to dig my targets (of course I agreed). Shortly into the search for treasurers, I got a signal, she scooped into the sand and we heard the sound of metal in the scoop.

As she dumped the object into her hand, she said to me "it's just a piece of junk metal" and was just about the toss it when I yelled "WAIT! Let me see it". It was getting dark but I could see it was black, which probably meant it was silver, slightly encrusted and rough edged and could see faint markings of some kind. I knew I had something old and good.

After returning home and doing some mild cleaning, I wound up finding that I had a 1683 Spanish I Reale pillars and waves style. WOW! What a find for me, I was ecstatic! This is my oldest find thus far.

Thanks Whites for a great machine, the DFX!

Dear White’s,

I just wanted to share a little bit about our recent DFX workshop. I put together a quick reference guide to the most important adjustments on the DFX, Greg touched on the “user preference settings” and offered answers to other questions.

Next we moved into the open field, in just seconds the coins started popping out the ground. Greg and I checked up on each member and answered any questions they had as they went along. After a short while, Greg and I grabbed our detectors and started to sweep behind them. We found that they left very few targets in the ground for us to recover. I take that as a positive. Our training was paying off for them. We only detected in the field for just over an hour, and most of the participants not only had a pocket full of clad, but minimal trash in the pouch.

There was even a .925 silver pin found on Saturday! I have included pictures from the “classroom” and some of the finds. Also, Dwayne went back on Sunday, used my customer’s coin/jewelry program and really cleaned up. He found, yes you guessed it, both coins and jewelry. Check out the ladies watch, men’s gold ring, and ladies god/diamond pin! It doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks to all that attended. I look forward to doing this again in the near future.

Thank You White’s,

Henry H.

Reached Goal of 1000 Silver Coins!

Dear White’s Electronics,

For many years I have been avidly involved in the hobby of metal detecting with my main interest being in coin shooting. I have relied exclusively on White’s Metal Detectors and to date have found a total of 58455 coins. I have recently obtained one of my personal goals of finding my 1000th silver coin which turned out to be a 1944-S Mercury Head dime!

The DFX is a very impressive Metal Detector and I am still surprised to find coins in Public places and so called "worked out" areas. In addition to the silver coins I have also recovered many other older coins like wheat pennies, Indian Head cents and Buffalo nickels not to mention the occasional rings or piece of jewelry I find along the way in my search for these older coins.

I always save up the new clad coins that I find and have been able to purchase a new metal detector every few years. I would like to thank everyone at White’s Electronics for producing such fine metal detectors. They have provided me with years of enjoyment and have helped me to amass an impressive collection of old coins.

Sincerely,

Kevin

Dear White’s,

I am a new comer to metal detecting. I have recently purchased my MXT. Thanks to my new friend, Vernon, who is a metal detecting pro. About a month ago while delivering fuel oil to his home we started talking about Civil War relic hunting. He went in his house and got a few relics, and showed them to me.

I told him that I had never been detecting, but would like to find a Civil War bullet. He told me he had an extra detector, and would be more than happy to take me detecting, and thought we wouldn't have much trouble finding a bullet. We met up the next weekend, and he loaned me a White’s XLT. He spent a few minutes showing me how to set it up and use it, and how to dig a target by cutting a plug.

Here are my finds so far after a couple of hunts: three Civil War bullets, a small cannon ball called a grape shot, an 1851 large cent, a flat button and a brass rivet off a Civil War belt....I am hooked!!!! Now that I have my Civil War bullet, I will have to set my sights on something else, maybe a CSA belt plate.

Thank you for an easy to use, effective detector.

Sincerely,

Chris B. from VA
